The Authentic New Year’s Eve Pie That Children And Adults Love!

Materials
- 300 grams all-purpose flour
- 300 grams coarsely chopped almonds
- 300 grams sugar
- 100 grams. butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 1/2 tbsp. zest of a lemon
- 1 glass of brandy liqueur
- some milk
- powdered sugar
Implementation
- Mix the flour with the baking powder.
- Cut the butter into cubes, throw it in a bowl, and beat it with the mixer, until it softens. While beating the butter, add the yolks and the sugar.
- Then add the zest, the almond kernels, the flour, and the brandy. If the mixture is too tight, add a little milk.
- Beat the meringue whites with half a teaspoon of baking powder and add it little by little to the mixture, stirring carefully.
- Butter a baking tray.
- Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
- Put the dough in the pan and bake the pie for 40–50 minutes.
When cooked, take the pie out of the pan, leave it until it cools, and sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
